Occupational Therapists needed for home visits in Northern Ocean County for our Point Pleasant office.
* Completes initial and ongoing comprehensive assessments at appropriate time points as assigned.
* Provide interventions and therapeutic treatment in accordance with the plan of care and occupational therapy professional standards of practice.
* Select and teach task-oriented therapeutic activities designed to restore physical function, and sensory-integrative function.
* Teach compensatory technique to improve the level of independence in the activities of daily living (ADLs).
* Regularly assess changes in the patient's status and determine whether the planned services should be modified, performing a re-evaluation and obtaining revision orders from the physician as indicated.
* Provide accurate documentation of services, evaluations, and interventions performed.
**Requirements include:**
* Current, Valid Occupational Therapist license in NJ
* Minimum of one year work experience as an Occupational Therapist
* Valid driver's license/auto insurance
* MMR vaccine or rubella/rubeola titers
* Up to date PPD or chest x-ray if history of positive PPD
* Physical examination within the last 12 months
